Mark and I knew from the start what we want to see in our wedding when we look back at our photos–lush and vibrant. The husband initially imagined a wall of flowers as our ceremony background, I on the other hand wanted soft flowing curtains. Amelia Blossoms came through with what we had in mind and more. She’s definitely the Tagaytay florist you’d want on your wedding. 🙂

On February, Mark and I got married at the Tagaytay wedding venue of our dreams in Balai Taal. The place was already gorgeous but Marinell of Amelia Blossoms went above and beyond to make the place more stunning for a worship event such as our wedding.

Our main theme was rustic garden with a play on navy blue and marsala, with secondary colors of blues and white. I also requested a few things like how the flowers are going to be wrapped, flowers to be used, and the inclusion of succulents.
Marinell is based in Paranaque but she does events outside of Metro Manila, too. Do note that she charges out of town (OOT) fee in Tagaytay if it’s a flowers-package-only. If you opt for any package with a set-up (i.e. wedding arbor and arch), the OOT fee will be waived. Check out some of her works from our wedding below:

The Flowers 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We love everything she made! Amelia Blossoms used imported flowers and local fillers to deliver our pegs and requests. Everything was delivered fresh and in excellent condition. There was also no wear and tear that you usually see when the flowers undergo delivery.
Delivery and set-up was on time! The over-all execution exceeded our expectations, specially with the arbor. If we’ll have to choose another Florist for our wedding, we’ll definitely have her again and again.

Communication ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I booked her on January 2017 for our February 2018 wedding. Given this timeline, I was able to meet her twice. She knows what she’s doing that made communicating what we want easier, therefore she was able to translate all of our notes and requests to the stunning wedding set-up we had.
My experience with communication with her was seamless. She replied on iMessage and answered calls fast. Meetings were always light and straight to the point. Marinell arrived late in one of our meetings in Ortigas but she and her husband came from Parañaque and braved the northbound traffic on a rush hour. We still appreciated the time she took to meet us, plus it goes to show how dedicated she is with working with her clients.

I know how much a  bouquet of flowers cost. Given that, I can say that Amelia Blossoms is one of the affordable Tagaytay wedding florists there is. Her quality of work and excellent output is definitely worth the total package we paid. Besides, it’s not everyday you see a professional supplier who can actually deliver without over promising, right? 😉
